EVENT INFORMATION:
The Anchored in Giving Charity Fundraiser will take place Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 6pm to 10pm. Tickets can be purchased by members in the member app. Silent auction will close at 9pm. Please bring cash for raffle items. You do not need to be present to win. All monies raised will be used to support local charities within our local community.
Our Mission:
In the spirit of our unique waterfront community, our philanthropic mission is to support, elevate, and contribute to the success of local non-profits serving Wrightsville Beach and New Hanover County. As the philanthropic arm of the Commodore Club, we are dedicated to giving back to our local community. Each year, we will contribute to select non-profit organizations rooted in New Hanover County. We hope to assist non-profits working directly in our community that provide outreach in areas such as environmental, education, and social services.
Commodore Club for a Cause is currently operating under the charitable sponsorship of the Wrightsville Beach Foundation, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, while establishing its own independent 501(c)(3) organization for next year. All donations made this year will be received, processed, and acknowledged by the Wrightsville Beach Foundation and will be used to support the charitable purposes of Commodore Club for a Cause. Donors will receive a tax acknowledgment from the Wrightsville Beach Foundation for eligible contributions in accordance with applicable IRS regulations.
