Barge Construction Has Started
We have some exciting news to share: phase one of CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN! Onsite hydrographic surveying was completed for details needed for the mooring design. The dedicated team at Monteith Construction has been working with Murray and Associates, LLC to finalize overall barge dimensions for materials release. The barge will be fabricated by St. Johns Ship Building in Palatka, Florida. Fabrication of the barge will be complete late this year, and then the barge will move up to Wilmington for phase two of construction. We are on time for our estimated completion in 2023!
