May 2023 Project Update
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
The barge is currently in North Carolina with temporary construction moorings in place to allow for construction. Over the next few weeks, structural base plate installation will wrap up, then steel columns and beams will be erected on site. The Monteith Construction team anticipates structural steel to be complete this summer.
LAYOUT UPDATE
The teams at Monteith Construction and Kersting Architecture have been working with the Giorgios Group to streamline the guest area designs for best use. The dining room layout has been modified slightly to adjust the location of the downstairs bar to help with traffic flow and seating. Take a look at the architectural rendering below that shows the new bar location on the main dining level.
SAM'S BAR
The Commodore Club street entrance is currently in design. Take a look at the renderings below showing some preliminary design of the Sam's Bar entryway.
